
The RDA SA Board of Management comprises between five and 10 people - all volunteers. Board members are elected for a two-year term, with half retiring annually.
President: Jill Ribbons - (2010-2012) IT consultant, Bedford Group. Immediate-Past President of Guides SA. Joined the RDA SA Board in 1999, president since 2003.
Vice president: Melisa Kaharevic - (2009-2011) Solicitor, Michael Hegarty and Assoc. Joined RDA SA Board in March 2007; Vice president Nov 2007 - Nov. 2008; Nov 2009 -
Executive Member: Julie Burnes -(2010-2012) retired administrator. Joined Board in 2005.

Dennis Hall - (2010-2012) Technical Manager, United Water. Joined Board in 1997 as a parent-advocate. President 2000-2003.
Karen Mugford - (2009-2011) Director, Office of the CEO for Southern Adelaide Health Service. Elected to Board November 2009. Horse owner.
Wendy Scullen - (2009-2011) Manager, Client Services, Guide Dogs SA-NT. Elected to Board November 2009. Recently introduced to horse ownership.
Denise Watkins - (2009-2011) Lawyer (retired). Most recent position was Director of Professional Standards of Law Soc. of SA Feb 1997 - Nov. 2008. Parent of RDA rider. RDA volunteer. Board member Adelaide Youth Orchestra. Appointed to Board March 2009.
Deb Ophof - (2010-2012) Manager, Information & Knowledge of SA Dept of Health Mental Health unit (MHU) since July 2008. Horse owner.

The Board does not currently have any sub-committees.
In March 2009, the Board determined that the existing sub-committees (Coaching and Safety, Dressage and Promotion and Fundraising) were operational and therefore had no role as sub-committees of the Board.
These are now designated as operational sub-committees and answer only to the Board via the state office and state manager.
RDA SA operates with three committees supporting organisation operations. Volunteers interested in assisting with any of these are always welcome to join.
Coaching and Safety - chaired by Jill Ribbons. Meets monthly. Focus on program delivery and coaching matters.
Dressage - chaired by Jill Ribbons. Meets monthly. Event preparation and competitor support.
Promotion and Fundraising - chaired by Jill Ribbons. Meets monthly. Supporting the organisation through promotional events.
