RDA SA Centres Forum
Saturday 27th February
RDA SA Centres' Forum will be held at Sport SA Headquarters, Military Road, West Beach on Saturday 27th Februrary, 2010, followed by the Disability Workshop on Sunday 28th at the same venue.
Forms are attached for Centre Committees to book and complete Centre Reports. Both need to be returned to State Office by Monday 22nd February by post (215 Portrush Road, Maylands 5069), email (admin@rdasa.org.au) or fax (8331 1188).
The main focus at this forum will be on Strategic and Future Planning for centres and RDA SA.
International Day of People with a Disability
December 3 - every year
Designated by the United Nations, International Day of People with a Disability is always celebrated on December 3.
The day celebrates diversity, achievements and abilities of people with a disability.
This year's United Nations theme is "Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Dignity and justice for all of us."

- Approximately 800,000 people in Australia care for a person with a disability
Special Olympics 2010 National Games
Adelaide, April 19 - 24, 2010
Riding for the Disabled SA is pleased to present the demonstration sport for the Special Olympics Australia 2010 National Games. Athletes from RDA centres around Australia will contest four equestrian events:
- English Equitation
- Prix Caprilli (dressage over poles)
- Texas Barrel
- Working trails
