Riding and carriage driving sessions will be cancelled if the forecast temperature for Elizabeth is 33 degrees or higher, as announced on the ABC the night before.
News from the Centre
Two valued members lost in two weeks
RDA Northern Area centre has lost two valued members during June 2009.
Rider Ashli Aitken passed away on June 14, aged 10. She had been riding with RDA for eight years and was beloved by all who knew and worked with her.
Volunteer Trevor Clifford passed away suddenly on the evening of June 24. Trevor had been a volunteer for 12 years, and during this time had qualified as an RDA Whip for carriage driving clients.
Tributes to Ashli and Trevor will appear in a future edition of "RDA SA News". A tribute to Trevor from Dennis Hall also appears elsewhere in this website, under "Stories from RDA SA".
