Congratulations to RDA SA rider Grace Bowman, nominated to represent Australia in the Paralympic Games in September.  She is one of four riders nominated for the Australian team and the first South Australian to achieve this honour.  She will ride in the Grade Ib section.

Grace, aged 17, lives at Moonta on Yorke Peninsula with her father and twin sisters.

Other team members are Jan Pike (NSW, Grade Ia ), Nicole Kullen (NSW, Grade 1b), Sharon Jarvis (WA, Grade III).  A fifth position will be selected in June, when the final team will be announced.

Team chef d’equipe Ken Dagley says, “Intensive preparations continue to prepare nominated athletes for events to be held in Hong Kong between September 7 and 12.

“Shortly an expression of interest will be sent out for those that want to support our team by applauding from the stands in Hong Kong .”

On behalf of the entire RDA SA ‘family’ we extend hearty congratulations to Grace on her nomination.
