Interesting how a different slant on things take please depending upon your experience. When I read the title "Infectious Control Policy" I immediately thought of Equine Influenza Virus. We suffered quite badly in our area with this outbreak. No horse deaths thank goodness but very worrying times as most of our horses are aged. Our centre was closed for almost nine months. I will be putting together a procedures policy for this situation, just in case something like this comes along again.
