Portaloo arrives
RDA Mt Barker is one of two RDA SA centres which shared a grant of $13,475 from Hotel Care Community Projects, administered by the SA Hotel Industry.
The grant was used to install disability accessible portaloos at their centres. The other centre sharing this grant is Yorke Peninsula.
Hot Weather Policy
RDA Mount Barker centre committee does not expect or wish for anyone to be working in extreme heat conditions.
Riding sessions will be cancelled when the forecast temperature for "Mount Barker" is 32 degrees or higher, as reported on the 6pm News on the evening before the riding session.
All clients and volunteers are expected and requested to check the forecast temperature the night before the riding session to find out if lessons will be cancelled.
